For Umpires (or anyone else, for that matter) coming for the early weeks to Cooperstown, just a heads-up: the weather here has been fairly cool and wet, a bit of rain often. If you were here last year week #2 you will remember how cold and rainy it was, the word to the wise is come prepared. I live about 2 hours from CDP, it has not been very warm yet this spring, and we've had quite a bit of rain.

It amazed me how accurate they were about when it would rain... It'd be beautiful outside and they tell you to get into the dugouts. The second everyone is in, it totally downpours.
