The application is invaluable for taking your test.  You can search for a term and get references from both the rule book and the case manual.  It beats flipping pages endlessly.

I'm that weird guy that actually LIKES books. My brain remembers the layout of pages. I don't memorize the words, but I remember where on the page to find it. For instance, I know the rule about F1 being ambidextrous is the last sentence of a small paragraph on the top of the right-hand page.

The app would be a useful tool, but playstore won't let me buy it without turning my phone into a google wallet. Ain't gonna happen. I leave my phone laying around too much.

I love books too, Jocko! But during the season and summer, I'm always losing one or the other... either my phone or the rule book! If I ever lose both I guess I can just  :smachhead:

I recommend you get a zippered $ bag. About $4 at walmart. Fits my rule, case, pbuc 2 man, pbucum, pen, highlighter, and notepad. Keeps everything together and fits in my gear bag.
