Rubber Maid Trash Can Ks Batter

League plays on a High School Varsity Team field.

We need to ensure the field and property is taken care of so League does not lose the facility.

Adult Major Wood Bat

VT 5 HT 4

TOP of 9th

R1 and R2 1 out

I am BU in C position

VT is in 3rd Base Dugout

#4 of VT Strikes out for the 4th time of the game and 2nd out of the inning.

As he enters the dug he bounces his helmet on the ground and then swings and hits the Trash Can.

I hear teammates say "That's the best contact you made all day"

He then takes a couple more swings at the trash can.

I can see him clearly from C position.

I call Time walk over to the 3rd base line, "That's school property, #4 your gone and give him the old EJ Finger.

He changes into his street shoes and leaves.

After the game I hear teammates say, "if he gets another EJ he may be gone from the league.

After game is over I notified League President who knows exactly who I am talking about when I give him the Team Name, his number, position and a description of what he did.

His reply is "Well guess he is sitting out the next game again".

I have no idea what his previous EJs where for but apparently he has had a few.

Checked trash can after the game for damage and discovered he couldn't even hurt a Rubber Maid trash can with his swing.... :wave:
