I have umpired local little league for the past 12 years and decided I wanted to do HS after doing a summer of games for my old HS coach. In Feb. 2010 I went to my first camp which opened my eyes to a whole new world of umpiring. (Hence the reason I call this my first year, lol)

I received 36 sub varsity assignment for the spring season. In june I attended a clinic ran by local NCAA umpires and graduated top of my class out of 55+ umpires. Following the camp I was assigned 3 Connie Mack Tournament Championship games, American Leagion C state championship game, along with multiple other tourneys and 80+ Connie Mack assignments. The lowest level of ball I worked was the C state game. I truly believe if you want to get better invest money into camps/clinics its definately worth it.

I also am attending a clinic that is hiring for NCAA in sept, along with a month long trip to pheonix to work, the Jim Evans Desert Classic in oct, and Jimmy's pro school in Jan.

My sons and I will also be at the Desert Classic. Be sure to introduce yourself. You will know me because I will be the guy with two little ducklings.

I will also be at the BBUC camp in Sacramento in Jan. and the Western Regional School in Feb.

Where do you live? What camp are you going to in Sept?
