  4. Good morning- I am a new umpire (starting second year) and have been following many of the topics listed on the forum, gaining much knowledge from the experienced folks here, which I am very appreciative of. I have received an order placed about 2 weeks ago from Gerry Davis Sports, and I have issues with the items I have received. I contacted the customer service team via “chat” and was not satisfied with their responses. I have now asked a few times to speak directly (via phone) with the manager, and have been snubbed with each request. As a new umpire and acquiring equipment, I have had issues/questions/concerns with my gear, and have found all the merchants/manufacturers to be extremely proactive until now. Does anyone know of a way to contact this company and speak with a member of management? Again, thank you for all of the insight and advice I have received from the forum, I appreciate it.
  5. Hello! I have been considering getting an EIN from the IRS to use on Game Vouchers instead of providing my SSN. What precipitated this thought was that I had an instance of non payment from a District, and was informed that my completed voucher had never made it the Business Office for payment. I inquired as to what was to happen regarding whereabouts of my personal information and received no reply. As this is beginning of my second year of umpiring, I want to find a process that is safer and seamless. Is using an EIN something you do? If so, what was the process used for getting the EIN through the IRS and actually using it with the Business Office to get paid?
