Calling the plate in a men's fast pitch softball tournament, had batter square around to bunt and tossed his bat at the pitch. Never saw it before and since. I had a "no call" snd still stand by it. It was risky for him if there was a double hit and he would be out. That didn't happen and it seemed to give him a jump on getting to 1st base faster.
