I know everyone has their own preference but I don't think the Smitty V2's are close to the Majestics. I think the Smitty's collar is terrible compared to the Majestic. I just think the Majestic Material is a lot better. But to your point I would not spend close to $200 on each shirt. But someone will. It will be interesting to watch.
We just had a brand new umpire start for our association this year. He is only doing the field his first year. He spent close to $600 on clothes and fees. Turfs, Pants, 2 shirts, jacket, pullover, hat, stop watch, belt, under armor cold gear long sleeve and tights, Had the pants, jacket and pullover altered as well. And State fee and booking fee.
