I paint cars for work so I painted it while I was painting a Tundra that color.

Thank you, I certainly agree they are nice masks and would be great with the TW pads. However we already have 2 Diamond masks with TW pads in our loaner gear. I can't justify keeping these additional 2 when there is other gear we need and our budget is just above shoe string. I will probably set the newer one up to add to our loaner gear and sell the older model. We will then have one loaner for each field in our complex.

This year I have taken on the job of being our Little Leagues UIC. In reaching out to many of the umpires that never returned from the COVID break I managed to get quite a bit of gear and uniforms donated. I wish they would have returned to umpire but you take what you can get. Anyway these two masks were included in the gear from 2 different guys. Both told me they are Wilson and one told me his was titanium. The mask frame on the right weighs 13.8oz and the one on left weighs 13.4oz. As you can see the ear and chin guards are shaped differently. I'm trying to ID them in an effort to decide whether to put them into our community gear pool for the volunteers or if one or both are worth selling to buy other gear we are more in need of. We already have 2 Diamond ix3 masks. Thank you all for your help!

I umpired with my Dad through high school. He went on to umpire in the LLWS. I joined the army, started a career after that and finally started a family. When my son decided he wanted to play baseball, he is currently playing TeeBall, I started umpiring the older divisions when I realized how desperate our league is for volunteers. My Dad and I have been able to umpire a number of games together again and my son gets to play baseball and watch the big kids play which he says is his favorite part(TeeBall is getting boring).

Hi all, I just started umpiring Little League in Spring and have been using the leagues worn out West Vest until I could make a decision on what I wanted to buy for myself. I landed here and a few months ago and have been reading as many reviews as possible on the different options. I landed on the Adams XV based on reviews and the price. I got it in today! I know it's a different type of foam pad that doesn't need to be as thick as on the West Vest however the padding is only about 10 millimeters thick. Has it always been that thin? Or is this a reduction in quality from the many I have seen on here reviewed and enjoyed by the members. I look forward to the feedback and learning what I can from you all.
