I enjoy coaching, but its not as enjoyable in a non-competetive league.

Don't get me started on parents lol. Some of them are okay, but majority believe they know everything.

Thanks for the tips guys. I planned on going through my rulebook again, but reading is never enough for me, so that test is what I need. I probably will attend a practice or two also.

For me in my area baseball stopped end of July and I feel like over the last 3 months I am in dire need of a refresher for the new season. Is there something you guys do or some resources I can take advantage of to get my mind back on point? Ideally a test would be a good start.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone would have any insight into any particular brand or store that sells reasonably priced gear. I know I can look to these forums as well, but would like to explore my options. Im planning on using my earnings as a return investment so getting a full set of gear to call my own will take some time. Depending on the age group I officiate I make between $30-$45 per game, typically do two games per night twice a week. My biggest need right now is clothing and a chest plate. The ones at my league don't cover the shoulders and I took a couple nasty shots last year. As far as clothing goes what I have doesn't fit me well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's good to know, I'll definitely be poking around a lot, particularly during spring.
