My name is JJ McLallen and I have been umpiring since 1992 in Eastern Washington and now the Denver Metro area since 2000. I worked my way up to working state semi-final games for CHSAA but got detailed by car accidents an concussions, so I work mostly youth baseball and some fast pitch softball.

I always end up reversing the ball/strike wheels on the 4-wheelers because they read strike/ball instead of ball/strike. I can't think strike ball - I would end up showing a 2-3 count as full like in Japan.
