  1. I have not seen this personally, but I have heard a few stories of field umpires showing up wearing a ball bag.
  2. It's just what I've found to be the easiest and most comfortable. I was never shown or mandated to do things one way or another. I know some people who keep their line up cards in their shirt pocket, but everyone I know keeps their brush in their ball bag.
  3. Thanks everyone. While reading I have noticed how everyone on this board is respectful which allows for healthy debate (unlike some other forums)
  4. Usually I wear two, but sometimes I'll wear one. If I know that I will be working at a field that does not require a lot of replacement balls I might just go with one. I keep my indicator and brush in one bag and my lineup card and pencil in the other.
  5. I tried on a pair of 995s and hated them. They felt really thin and thus offered very little support.
  6. Hello everyone, I have been reading this site for about a year now and finally decided to join. I have found the site to be very informative and I hope to add to it. This will be my 8th season umpiring and I have only done LL games. I am currently a college student and this will be my second year as one of two UICs of my home LL, though it will be my fourth year training our umpires. I also umpire in and help train the umpires in the League where I go to school. I help my LL District train youth umpires as well.
