7.05 i talks about a one base award when a pitched ball lodges in umpire gear on a ball four sitch. I don't have my FED book on me but it seems that if a pitched ball lodges in cather or umpire gear or the fence it is a dead ball with a one base award, in FED. Is this not the same for LL? is there no award for a ball lodged in catchers CP? can the runners run at will? thanks, 1

It is the same. OBR has the same wording as LL and J/R says that the ball is dead and it is a one base award for any runner(s). If it is strike three, the batter gets first unless it is occupied and there are less than two outs. If the pitch was ball four, the batter only gets first.
