HP Umpire Dan Iassogna ejected Rays manager Kevin Cash (strike two call to Chandler Simpson; QOCN) in the top of the 8th inning of the #Rays-#Giants game. With two out and one on, Rays batter Simpson took a 3-1 fastball from Giants pitcher José Buttó for a called second strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer half of home plate and below the hollow beneath the knee (px -0.38, pz 1.41 [sz_bot 1.71 / RAD 1.59 / MOE 1.51]), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Giants were leading, 1-0. The Rays ultimately won the contest, 2-1.
