Like many of you I have read the posts regarding the “trolling” situation on officiating.com. I want to make it clear to you that I will not tolerate the “trolls.” I want to have an open discussion area for umpires of all levels where nobody would feel intimidated to ask any question and get a knowledgeable response. This is not to say I do not want lively, spirited discussion because I do. But the line is crossed when there are personal attacks or degrading comments. Ya’ll are great. Undoubtedly we will see some folks just out to instigate others. If/when this happens please report it, but do not respond or “feed the trolls.” I will handle the situation.
