I'm looking for the rule that prohibits a catcher from pitching after catching a certain number of innings. Can't find it, but I know it's there! Anyone know the reference? Thanks.

Ugh...thanks.

Is this to be interpreted that if a catcher catches 1 pitch in the 4th inning he cannot pitch? Or, if he catches 1 pitch beyond 4 innings he cannot pitch?

If a catcher receives one pitch that goes to a pitchers pitch count, that counts as an inning.  Any catcher that catches any part of any four innings cannot pitch.

Yes
