Question
FleasOf1000Camels
12u tournament under NFHS rules.
At pre-game I gently remind coaches that part of being "legally, properly and safely equipped" includes the absence of: bracelets, necklaces, etc.
HC: One of my boys is type 1 diabetic and must wear his medic alert bracelet at all times.
U1: The rules allow that, so long as it is taped down so it can't get caught on anything.
HC: Never heard of that before, but we'll take care of it.
In 2nd inning I notice F5 has his right forearm, just above the wrist wrapped in white medical tape. I assume this must be the kid with the medic-alert bracelet...no big deal.
5th inning, guess who comes in to pitch.
What do we do with that?
