I'm finally getting back to calling some baseball after a stretch of softball.  Knowing that it was going to be a little different as far as tracking a pitch from the release point, I tried to make a mental note of really tracking the pitch and taking my time but I was still having difficulty getting used to the ball coming down instead of the ball coming up on the release.  Is there anybody on here that calls both softball and baseball and has had a similar problem?

When I use to do softball I would track ball as it came out of hand on release down next to hip. In baseball I track ball from the time it comes out of glove. I have been out for over 10 years and I have asked others when do they track one vet said I don't know I just call ball or strike. So idk.
