Daughters first game.

I was PU last night in my daughters first game to call. No desire to do little league but said ok just to be there with kid. First game of doubleheader she gets bang/bang at third after passed ball. From my angle she made right call when she called girl out. Daughter 5' 105lbs, 3B coach 6'2 240ish. He comes out on field, I slide down line to eavesdrop. Coach says she got under tag, daughter replies she was tagged on left knee before ever reach in bag( went in standing up ). Coach says fair enough. When games were over here comes coach and I'm thinking uh-oh. He comes up to my kid and says that's the way to be confident and stand your ground, but I still think she was safe. Lol.

I've got no problem with someone thinking I made the wrong call, dunces chances are I'll make at least one mistake at some point down the line. As long as if they express that opinion they do it respectfully.

Sounds like your daughter could go far in umpiring if she wants to.
