South Carolina High School baseball. Runners on 1st and 3rd, 1 out. Batter pops out to left field (now 2 outs), runners tag up, left fielder makes a play to home, throw is wide and runner scores. Catcher makes a play to 3rd, bad throw runner safe at 3rd. Plays stop. Coach comes out of dugout onto the field and while walking to 3rd base motions to his 3rd baseman to throw ball back to 1st. First baseman gets ball tags first base and infield ump signals out now (saying runner on 1st left too early) now 3 outs. Questions: Does run that came in prior to the 3rd out count? Is the Coach allowed to step on field like that and when he did, are all plays now dead when he came out of dugout?
