    Ashleigh posted a topic in Situations

    How do you score this play? Runner on 1st and 2nd. Batter hits a ball in the gap. No chance of it being caught. Runners get half way, think they need to tag up and run back to the base. Runner that was on first is thrown out at second because she went back to first. Clearly a base running error. Had the girls advanced as instructed by base coaches everyone would have been safe. Fielders choice or single with out on base path?
