    play at 1st base , force out ... hello , I was playing 1st base . I dove for a ground ball towards 2nd base . got up with the ball in my glove ran 15 feet towards 1st base had to dive and tag with my glove/ball in it. I touched 1st with the glove ball inside before the funner got to 1st . as I was on the ground the ball came out after I hit the bag. umpire called him safe . I think he was out on the force out . like a transfer play . I don't have to hold on to the ball. what are your thoughts Bob
