Hi, Runner (R1) at 1B, 1 out. Batter hits a flyball to center (F8), and R1 takes off (perhaps thinking there are 2 outs). By the time F8 catches the ball, R1 is almost at 3B. Can R1 be doubled off by F8 throwing the ball in, and the infielder tagging 2nd before R1 retreats past it on his way back to 1B?
