What about jump throws to 1B?

I had a play in a tournament last season where a runner going from 2nd to 3rd trucked the SS while he was attempting to field a ball. Called the runner out and the coach went nuts. I should have tossed him, especially for how he acted after the game(lost by a run and blamed me LOL), but you never know. I didn't have my iphone to show him the rule, but looked it up afterwards when he complained to the tournament director who said I made the right call.

In USSSA there is not a required sliding rule, but if the umpire uses his discretion he can call the runner out for not sliding.
