I had a batter intentionally put his leg in the path of a inside pitch that was out of the strike zone the count at the time was 1/2........I did not award the batter 1st and instead made him bat again and called that pitch a ball count now 2/2. Right or wrong? Coach said I was wrong The coach said it should have been a no pitch.

New to this forum but have been involved in umpiring and refereeing for 8 years. Looking forward to info!
