Hello Everyone, My name is Chris Gianunzio and I currently reside in Lincoln, NE. I have been umpiring for what is now the end of my second year. I have umpired Select, High School, American Legion, and JV College baseball. In the last year and a half, I attended the Mid-American Umpire Clinic (2-man) in Springfield, MO, Husker Classic Clinic in Lincoln, NE and the Cedar Rapids, IA Showcase. I have been blessed with the opportunity to be under the instruction of many great college and former minor league umpires. I will be going back to Springfield again this year to the 2-man clinic and also to the introductory 3-man clinic in Kansas City I am 30 years old and my goals are to move up into the NCAA Division 1 ranks. I want to umpire the best of the best in college. I recently joined this forum so I can expand my knowledge of the game and umpiring. I love hearing about the different perspectives of umpiring and the different types of situations umpires find themselves in. I look forward to reading, learning and becoming a better umpire through this site. I look forward to getting to know some of you and hearing about your stories.
