Hello all,
I hope you all don't mind but I signed up to this forum not as an umpire but as league president. I have a full time job as a police officer and, like you all, love the game of baseball. I have played the game through high school and then finally again as an adult for a 30+ league. After playnig for a few seasons circumstances have dictated that playing was no longer feasible. Recently, I have again made an attempt to play, however, the location in which I currently reside was limited to Adult recreational baseball. After months of researching I find the NABA. It has given me the chance to play again by way of starting a league in my area. I instantly applied. Now I am blessed with something I have never imagined; something that I could have only dreamed of - owning my own baseball league. So now I am tasked with business duties such as accounting, marketing and advertising promotion, findig fields, managers, players and you gentlemen - UMPIRES. So, I hope that somewhere behind the mask you can find a way to understand and call me SAFE for posting on YOUR forum . Thank you!
Respectfully,
A.J.
