Hello!

My name is Daniel, I am 22 years of age, and I just finished my 9th year of umpiring with East Nepean Little League. I have been umpiring since I was 14 years old, and my passion for umpiring just kept on growing and growing over the years. I can umpire every night of the spring and summer, and I would love every minute of it. Each year, I have averaged between 50-100 games that I will umpire. I will either get paid for the games, or I will choose to be a volunteer. A good chunk of the games I have umpired have been free games, and I will keep on volunteering. It isn't about the money. It is about the love of the game. I used to be a little league player, and, I immediately fell in love with the game through playing. Umpiring just made my passion grow.

I have joined this umpiring forum because I not only want to learn about umpiring and the rules, but, I also want to share my umpiring experiences with others, learn from the experiences of other umpires, make new friends, be a positive and inspiring umpire role-model for other members on this website, and to be here for someone when they need someone to talk to.
