I am finishing up my first year of umpiring with fall ball finally starting up. I started back in the spring and I have fallen in love with it. I've checked this site daily since March and I finally decided to hit the register button.
I can say that this site has been very valuable to me as a new umpire this year. I have probably read every situation posted here and when a few of them popped up in my own games, I knew exactly what to do. The knowledge here is an incredible tool for a new umpire like myself to improve.
I'm 31 and I'm a personal banker for large bank. I am also a member of Team Pulli which helps raise money to fight Parkinson's Disease in Frank Pulli's name. I never got to personally meet the man, but his story has inspired so many. I actually wear one of his old masks.
I look forward to learning even more from this community as I continue to try and improve daily.
