Hello guys, and those few lady umpires out there!
I am new to the site and wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Collin Walker; I am an 19 year old umpire located in East Texas. I played baseball my whole life and have always loved the game. I grew up like the normal American kid wanting to be a pro baseball player. Once I realized that dream was out of reach, my focus began to shift to the love I had found for umpiring. At this point I've been able to get three seasons under my belt as a man in blue. I started my junior year of high school as a little league umpire. Now I am a current member of TASO; which is Texas Association of Sports Officials. As a member of TASO the highest level of ball I have called is Junior Varsity. I plan to attend the MiLB umpire school in January to pursue this passion of mine. My dream is to one day be blessed enough to umpire for Major League Baseball. I look forward to getting to know other umpires on this website. One thing I've learned about umpiring: there is ALWAYS more to learn. Have a great day guys! -Collin Walker
