If you ask me about a strike zone or want feedback post game I will offer it. I train new umpires(Softball slow and fast) and sometimes work with during the game only for consistency purposes. Don't let another umpire dictate anything to you. You have your judgment - that is why you are an umpire. I will tell you these things that work well for me; ALWAYS call the plate, be consistent, call the whole plate and zone. Another member made a good comment about game management. In softball, slow or fast, you don't call the exact same plate for say 12 and under that you do for high school & college kids. Again, it's a judgment things...do your best and you will be fine
