    3 Man Rotation

Well here is what happened, PU did stay home, U1 (me) did stay and watch the BR touch 1b, unfortunately U3 stayed at 3rd (did not go out) and NO ONE had 2nd. In post game, U3 kept trying to say it was my repsosnibility at 2. I am the new guy in the Association, so I took my lumps. PU also tried to say it was U3 responsibility, butnhenwas not having any of it. I was fairly certain I had the correct rotation in mind, but as the newbie and certainly new to the new mechanics, I wanted to check with those in the know. So checking another play. R1, no outs. I am in A, U3 in C. Base hit ground ball through the infield. My interpretation was I have BR through 2B or back into 1B and U3 has R1 for the touch at 2B and any play at 3B. Am I wrong here? I was told I was. PU and I had a good pre game. U3 was there but was later and then was not very interested in the pre game. Candidly I think he was a little taken aback that I was new to the Association. Again, in post game, PU and I talked about a lot of plays, but U3 just thanked us and left.
  2. HS scrimmage today, using 3 man, CCA Mechanics. I am U1, in A. Runner on 3rd, 1 out. U3 in D. Line drive, base hit between F6 and 2nd base. What is the correct rotation, using CCA mechanics, even though a HS game. Will tell what happened after some feedback.

    Newbie

Been lurking and reading for a while. Great forum and support group here. After reading Jax's post today about taking the test, it encouraged me to do the same. So,I did take and complete the FHSSA exam with a tentative score of 94, yay me. I ran a youth league in Central Florida for a number of years and did some umpiring. After resigning that role, I took a season off and then returned in the umpiring ranks. A few fellow members encouraged me to get HS certified, so here I am. Will continue to do some youth league and give back, but looking into growing and continuing to learn and get better. In other words, taken from this forum, trying not to suck!
