The situation is 2 out, R3 and R2. Pitcher balks but continues with the pitch, batter lines the ball into left field and pulls up at 2nd base. R3 and R2 both score. Batter missed 1st base and is called out on appeal. How many runs score?????

Can you clarify for me who has got the check swing for a left handed hitter in a 3-man system when there is R1 and the 3rd base umpire is on the line between 1st & 2nd waiting for the steal? Are you still going to the "open side" umpire (U3) or the man on the line at 1st?

Just looking for clarification on a foul tip. Have never seen this scenario before but it came up in discussion: Batter swings at pitch which goes sharp and direct to catchers mitt; ball rebounds onto catcher's leg guard and balloons into the air which allows the catcher to eventually catch the ball. Do you have this as a foul tip?
