Columbus, actually, potentially as soon as mid-july.

Anybody have suggestions (or contacts) for a good umpire association? Or any insights into life in Columbus?

Can't help you out about Columbus. But, in GA, prepare for the heat and humidity. You will find yourself sweating while standing in place.

When it is 85 degrees here, it feels like 95 with the humidity. And, winters are more wet than cold. We generally get a cold spell during Jan./Feb. but that is about it. In your first couple, they may not seem cold. But, once you get accustom to how warm it is through most of the year, it then seems colder than it actually is.
