I have issues, won't do hand over heart. But then, I also don't think we need to play a pre-recorded National Anthem at amateur/youth sporting events. Perform it live, make it special, or don't bother. 2

Son of a Marine and father to one whom is standing around (hopefully) in DC right now. Also, I work closely to one service whom is on the 30ish attempt to update in-service software. I know it isn't their fault and I'll stop before I get too much further down that political quagmire. As for the recording, I could support that idea. Recording a piece like that is not easy, though. Not a quality recording anyway. Our school is putting in a recording studio, and I'm the guy pitching a multi-media arts program to use it . . . so . . . I don't know squat about the equipment or mixing music though.

Listen, if today’s youth can figure out how to capture and post a stoooopid dance video to TikTok, or a lame busking video (running it thru auto-tune is the lame part) to Instagram, then I’m sure they can figure out how to record and produce the National anthem. Just need motivation, and an absence of meddling adults. 1
