These bags have been on the market for awhile and I am starting to see lots of guys in my market using these more and more. I have 2 pairs of navy and black Force3 Dry-Lo's that I am content with and they still have another year in them at least...

You guys who have been using the WeatherTeks for a bit now...could you please respond with your feedback?

I like mine. I am only an one bag guy and I can easily get six balls in it. I cant recall using it during weather so I cant tell you how well it kept the balls dry.

But two thumbs up for them.

I liked mine, but I live in the Coachella Valley which has some brutal sun. It caused them to fade quite a bit. I tried dying them in the off season, but it didn't work and I gave them away to a returning umpire. I now use some SSK bags.

I ordered a set in January’23 so I’ve used them for two years now. I love them. They will keep balls dry for a while, but like any bag, once they get too wet, nothing works. The volume and ease of getting a hand in and out makes them the best bags I’ve ever used.

That said, two years in, and as I’m putting all my gear together this spring, I noticed they are beginning to fade. They don’t look bad yet, but if I fold over a piece there’s a big difference in the color of the two sides. They have seen a lot of games.  But it’s looking like three  years of heavy use and they’ll be faded to the point where I’ll buy another set.

I agree with the above statements. I’ll also agree that they are the best bags I’ve used. I love the ease of getting to a baseball without getting my hand caught up in the bag.

My only gripe is the somewhat rounded shape. I wish it was more squared-off on the corners, but it won’t keep me from using and recommending them.

I’m noticing more and more umpires using them. The more I see them, the less the round shape or large size looks odd. I helped out at a clinic today, and some of the guys had older bags. They look so small. Like little man purses. 😁

I got one of the first sets from Ray, and I heavily favored them because it allowed me to carry 16-18 baseballs. During Spring Training, not only are the POs or player-who-is-tapped-to-act-as-Bat-and-Ball-Boy minimally responsive, but frequently, I’d have to use 2-3 different ball types per session. MLB, MiLB, then an international specific (the most wild ones in my collection are the Korean and Dutch baseballs), and I could easily put 8 (can squeeze in a 9th if need be) of each on either side.

College and inde-pro games, I load up.

Their depth and shape also impedes baseballs hoppin’ out and escaping when you’re on a… vigorous rotation to 3B.

The only drawback is the inevitable fading…

I simply won't carry ball bags that aren't from Ray now. I have three sets:  black, black/blue, black/gray, so I can coordinate with which mask I'm wearing (yeah, I guess that makes me a nerd).

Factory treated  before sewing but we are looking at alternative treatments for the future production runs but the sun will always win out one way or another.

Any opinions on spraying them with some of these UV fabric protectant sprays?

I've tried that and it didn't work for mine.

Other than the fading, they were awesome. And you can easily fit 16 baseballs in them and they won't fall out.
