With none out and none on, Cardinals batter Nootbaar took a 2-2 sinker from Pirates pitcher Jake Woodford for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer edge of home plate and thigh-high (px 0.84, pz 2.34), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Cardinals were leading, 4-2.
