I turned around and saw R1 crossing the plate after the out was made at first. Sounds like you were a little quick on the call. Take in the entire play, then make your out call. My initial reaction is to hammer the out and then go with a point and verbal "that's nothing" but am interested in your thought. I'm a bigger fan of the point and verbalization on complex plays like this. Less opportunity for confusion. Batted ball and a base runner, safe sign is sufficient. 1 Quote
