Do SSK Plate Pants have a reinforced stitch in the seat? I ask because I see several pairs of SSK Pants for sale but it’s difficult to tell from pictures whether the pants are plate or bases.

A colleague who wears SSK pants reports that the plate pants do not have a saddle-seat stitch. There’s more leg volume between plate and base pants, but no outward distinguishing marks.

They don’t, I have a couple of pairs… When I get home, I’ll take pictures of the tags inside that I’ll tell you which are plt and base.
