If you pull up a base and remove it from play (whether there is a spare available or not...), you should be eternally banned from ALL levels of baseball in any capacity. Can you imagine if an umpire went into a dugout and threw all of the bats over the fence? Their house would be burned to the ground...

It's a joke that umpires are expected to maintain our decorum while players and managers and fans can do as they please...are we a civilized society or are we savages?

😈 Coach, I'm calling strikes because your guys aren't using them anyway!

I want to applaud the organization in the 2010 video for letting the fan keep the base!

Quisenberry is the only one I recognize. Man, he was a great one.

oh man. that other guy from La Verne - former MLB manager Nick Leyva with the Phillies gets left out.

Don't tell Earl Weaver that a non-MLB player, just a former infield MiLB player like himself, who made it as a MLB manager gets left out. he will be rolling over in the grave on that one.

I will admit, judging by the fan's reaction, the base signing was amusing.  That said, the league should suspend him and fine the hell out of him.  It's stuff like this that destroys the decorum of the game.
