Hello everyone! I am looking for a new chest protector and want one that fits my "build". The only requirements are that it it hardshell and can be adjusted for someone that its 5'5 and around 130 lbs.

Thanks,

Hi! I work with AllStar on product development in the umpire space. The AllStar Cobalt chest protector is really the only one that has adjustments outside of the harness. Shoot me a PM and I can get you set up with one.

Wasn't Ray working on something like this a while back?

Still am working on it. Major issue is the many sizes of the breast are. I have adapted a few things to make it work but not ready to talk about it just yet.

Talked with a few hockey Mfg's and they were not interested even though they make female shoulder pads...that tells you everything and why no baseball or softball company has made one.

What about lacrosse gear?

I was watching a video on making armor for women and it was more about adding just a little space in the chest area. Something that could be also nice for guys that have bigger chests.

What, no title IX when it comes to the officiating space and making manufacturers produce like kind products for women?

My daughter umpires and although she is still a teen, she is already complaining about the lack of adjustability for her. I wish I had a good option for her.
