so, start at 12:00-13:30 and watch for the IRR.

what do you have on both, and if the catcher had held onto the ball in the first one.

just to let everyone watch and get a mental picture of both.

and on this next game below with south carolina a bat flipping way in towards the pitcher. total disrespect? 9:30do we have a code violation here? watch the next batter and see. check out 8:33-9:30. will there be retribution in today's game to get even.

First one, dunno. We don't see when the catcher moved into that position. The second one isn't even close to being illegal.

What is a code violation?

First play - "In my judgement" the C was illegally blocking the plate with his back leg BEFORE he made any motion to field the throw coming in from RF.  It never moves as he fields the throw. With that, I think you do have OBS here, but ignore it as the run scored anyways.

You wouldn't ignore it as it would be Type 1.

I suspect if F2 holds onto the ball in the first play, TCU challenges and gets an OBS call after review. I think it should have been called to begin with - but of course, it's awful easy from my office chair.  ;)

Start at 11:35 - at 11:38 you can see F2 is blocking the plate, and the throw is not yet there, nor does F2 need to be in that spot. Then, as the ball nears, he stretches to maintain his blocking of the plate.
