Senor Azul 555
I would like to recommend you take a look at the TV series Have Gun – Will Travel (Season 4 Episode 4). The series is set in the 1870s and the episode is titled Out at the Old Ball Park--it first aired on 10/1/60. In the episode the protagonist Paladin answered a newspaper ad for an honest umpire. During his job interview Paladin states that his resume includes serving under Gen. Abner Doubleday in the Civil War, and witnessing the first openly pro team, the Cincinnati Red Stockings play in 1869. And my favorite part is that he wore and used his six-gun as part of his umpire equipment during the game. 1
