Umpire in correctly calls infield fly rule. No one on first just 2nd and 3rd. How would you fix the call? Ball was dropped . Batter was given first because no infield fly. My team did not even think to throw to first because umpire yell infield fly batter is out

I think you answered to opposite question -- what happens if an infield fly *should be* called, but isn't? The OP was: what happens if an infield fly *should not be* called, but is?
