How quickly they forget

Recommended Posts

Seems like they forget their own shortcomings from the night before, in the ninth inning no less, to try to pick on/bully and scapegoat someone for their own terrible playing again the following night. Real class act.

But I guess this is what/how the head coach/university wants to be represented in the field and the NCAA want, with more than one display of barking from the dugout like little weasels during the championships.

The butthurt is strong with Arkansas fans.  The pitch the previous inning caught the hollow of the knee.  The pitch that led to the ejection was down.  The pitch that ended the game also caught the hollow.  There was one pitch that I can remember that was called a strike that was just barely down, and a couple that were outside that were called strikes.  If we were able to look at Burleson's plot, I suspect that it would look a whole lot like and MLB umpire's plot.

I love the idiots on Twitter complaining that he didn't get a warning. To paraphrase Maury Povich: "The video clip confirms that was a lie."

That's about the most random member of a team to get ejected.

Pawn. 99 times out of 100, his voice adds mass to the griping, and most umpires will warn the entirety of the coaching staff and/or the HC. I love that he singled out such an otherwise minor character and promptly "took away his 'I get to sit in the dugout' card".

Anyone know the last time someone got dumped in a CWS game? Let alone a final?

Just last year, when Louisville's coach got dumped. Though that was the first since 2007 when it happened, I recall reading.

Exactly what he did. I know of umpires who will find the prior night's starting pitcher and toss him to shut the ream up.
