The umpires would get to teach, which would make them feel a whole lot better than being part of a lopsided game.

Really????

Umpires don't teach, and when the game is no longer an official contest umpires should get the hell off the field. Next thing you know a kid gets hurt and your kiester is on the line.

Yes, but it also states "If a state association has adopted game-ending procedures, only those game-ending procedures may be used, should the opposing coaches wish to terminate a game." Therefore, if Texas has a game-ending procedure set up (which they do) and it doesn't state that the coaches and UIC can end the game early by mutual decision, it couldn't be done.

The umpires would get to teach, which would make them feel a whole lot better than being part of a lopsided game.

Once the game's over, I think all of us would leave the field. It's not our game anymore.
