Question

Batter hits ground ball to second. Second base player throws ball to first and the first base player is standing on the bag. The runner 'slides' into first base feet first and his foot touches the bag before the ball hits the first base glove. The runner, is on the home plate side of first base, and left side of chalk line, gets up, not touching the base, and the first base player tags him. What do you call?

Out. The batter-runner did not overrun or overslide first so he's not protected by that clause.
