Question

R3 and R2, one out. B1 hits double to RFR3 scores but R2 gets thrown out at the plate for the second out.  B1 stops at second. Defense properly appeals B1 missing 1st base. Do any runs score?

No runs score because the third out was made on the batter runner before legally reaching first base.

So it is irrelevant that the run scored before the 2nd out (not forced) at the plate happened and then the third out at first?
