If the elves are making umpire gear, boy do I have a list for them! On my actual list is a pair of doe skin pads. And socks! (My damn washer keeps eating my work socks) Maybe I should add a sock washing bag to my list too. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

Hey, it's happened before. I distinctly remember calling preseason HS scrimmages in March. Sometimes even in nice weather! However, if it doesn't happen again soon, it won't be hard to convince me I'm "misremembering"

In 2012 I called 15 preseason games between 3/12 and 3/31. There were no cancellations and coaches were at a loss to find pitchers. You ain't misremembering.

Its been surprising how good the springs have been here in the Pacific NW. Two seasons ago, I only had one HS/College rain out. It was quite the shock. Believe me.

Prior to that. The previous 4 years, my wife would ask me "is it always this wet and rainy?"

A little travel over the Atlantic Ocean and all i needed will be under my Christmas tree....

It costs me 64 $ of postal service....You need to be motivated to umpire in Europe, trust me...
