Tag after a u3k , replay, call stands

How would you be able to "fix" that with replay?  Kind of like blowing the whistle in football, the call caused the action to stop.

ok, ...so .... the replay review REVERSES the call,...thus , no tag.  You keep Aybar at first because Flowers didn't throw to F3?

I'm guessing the reversal of the tag created a sit where the initial out call stopped the catcher from throwing to 1B. So I guess they thought without the out call there would have been a throw and an out.

According to Hack, 48% overturn rate means the umpires have been wrong "most of the time."  Not so good with math?

For the record, I watched this last night and on the Angels' broadcast, and they showed a zoomed in look and I thought there was a possibility that F2's finger had snagged Aybar's pant leg.  Either way, I was fine with it since if Culbreth had said "no tag", they would have easily thrown out Aybar at first.

Again, they need to do something about this situation.  The players can't be expected to prepare for all replay contingencies.  I think they need to give the umpires (or replay official) the ability to place the runners with type-B-obstruction-like latitude.  Giving the BR first on this play would be very unfair, even if the tag was missed.
