What can we learn? High tags are sometimes outs?

The replay has a great shot of the rotation: U3 goes out on the catch/no catch, PU takes R3 tagging up. U2 takes R2 tagging up and going into 3B. U1 takes R1 tagging up and going into 2B. 4-umpire mechanics is a thing of beauty when done properly: an umpire ahead of every runner, ready for any play the defense makes.

yes, of course ....  my question in the OP was more of a rhetorical one, and more "self evaluating" ....

Rotating more to the right, yes, but when the tag is high and the touch is low, you can't be close/right on top of the play. In slo-mo it was a matter of inches. Maybe if he was more to the right he would have had an out...maybe...very close play.
